Mike Kushner passed away on June 13, 2023, at Prairie Lake Seniors Community with family and very dear, compassionate, caregivers by his side.
Mike will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family; son Terry (Liz) of Grande Prairie, daughter Cindy (Tom) Doerksen of West Kelowna and grandson Cody, who was his pride and joy, son Bernie and partner Paul of Auckland, New Zealand. He also leaves behind his dear sisters Julie and Angela, many loved nieces and nephews and special dear friends Clara Lagace and Helen Zan.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lil, and infant twin children Vicky and Ricky, his parents Mary and William and brother-in-law Alex.
A Funeral Service for Mike was held at Bear Creek Funeral Home on 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 2pm, with Eunice Friesen officiating. Interment followed at the Grande Prairie Cemetery.
Mike’s family would like to say thank you from the bottom of their hearts to the very dear, compassionate, and caring staff of the 2nd and 4th floors at Prairie Lake Seniors Community.
