Willie Tomnuk, formerly of Spirit River, Alberta and resident of Surrey, British Columbia, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2023, at the age of 74 years old.
Willie was born in Spirit River, Alberta. He married Joanne Pierog, the love of his life, on August 8, 1971. They farmed together in Wonderland until 2010 when they moved to Surrey to be close to their family. They were blessed with two children and three grandchildren. Willie spent his retirement socializing, travelling often to Yuma and Spirit River to connect with friends and family.
Willie will be dearly missed by Christine and husband Jason; Myron and wife Darcie and grandchildren Noah, Taya and Gioia; brothers-in-law Al (Donna) and Casey and sister-in-law Julie.
Willie was predeceased by his wife Joanne, mother Lucy, father Bill, father-in-law Walter, mother-in-law Anne, brother Roger and brother-in-law Stanley.

A funeral service will be held in Rycroft Community Hall on Monday, May 29, at 1pm with internment to follow at Devale Cemetery.
