Thomas “Tom” Edward Dyck, resident of Silver Valley, AB, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Central Peace Health Complex in Spirit River, AB, at the age of 79 years.
Tom was a farmer in the Valley for many years and when he retired, he began woodworking. He spent many hours in his shop making bowls and toys, much to the joy of his grandchildren and neighbour’s children.
Tom will be forever remembered and missed by his wife of 27 years Carolyn; step-children: Tammy Foster, Tannia Crandall, Sean Foster, and Brandon Foster; grandchildren: Ayla, Daniel, Kayla and Nathan; honourary grandchildren Levi and Hannah Follert; his three sisters; one sister in-law; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Central Peace Health Complex and Long-Term Care for taking care of Tom for the last two and a half years. He is making his voice heard in heaven now.
