Maud Deperza Sample, born in Stettler, Alberta on Jan 12, 1926 passed away at the Manoir Du Lac in McLennan, on July 3, 2021 at 95 years of age.
Maud is predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Edna Hartman; along with 9 siblings: Art, George, Lorne, Hazel, Ida, Hallie, Minnie, Dora, Fred; her loving husband, Dave and her oldest grandson, Shane.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, Sandy (Leonard), 3 grandchildren Amanda(Sean), Holly (Jean), Michael (Sierra) and 7 great grandchildren Griffin, Everly, Bailey, Anyka, Preston, Jada, Myla and extended great grandchildren, Allison, Chuck.
Maud was active outdoors from helping out on her and her husband’s ranch, tending to her enormous garden or just playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Maud was such a hard worker and always on the go, a true Jane of all trades and loving mom, grandmother and friendly neighbor. She is greatly missed but there is peace in knowing that her abundance of unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, and lessons in life will forever live on.
As per Maud’s request a small family-only ceremony will be held in her memory.
