
Alberta Health reports 368 new COVID-19 cases in the province over three days ending Monday, July 19. The new cases include two in Birch Hills County and one in Saddle Hills County.
The lone case earlier reported under the Municipal District of Spirit River No. 133 was declared as having recovered. That case was the first one to hit the Central Peace.
New cases have breached the 100 mark each day between July 16 and July 19 before falling to 97 on Sunday, July 19.
The North Zone, which lumps together areas including the County and City of Grande Prairie as well as the Central Peace and neighboring communities, have 76 active cases.
Active cases in the County of Grande Prairie are nine; City of Grande Prairie, eight; and Fairview, one.
Eighty-six people are in hospital, including 17 in intensive care, across the province. A total of 170 people have been lost to COVID-19.
