Alberta’s active cases at 440

Hospitalization rates remain low with 31 people in hospital, seven of whom are in intensive care. Twenty new cases have been identified out of 3,462 tests completed in the past 24 hours, bringing active cases to 440.

Alberta Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw also reports one death, bringing the provincial tally of fatalities to 151.

Active cases in continuing care facilities, which account for 116 coronavirus-related deaths, stand at 29.
