Lew Emard, resident of Silver Valley, Alberta passed away on October 13, 2019 at the age of 79. He was born June 25, 1940 in Russell, Ontario.
He will be fondly remembered by his wife Bertha, children Jacqueline (Darrell) Green and Tony (Crystal) Emard, siblings Madeleine (Rene) Thibault, Louise (Gilles) Boulerice, Jacqueline Brisson, sister-in-law Denise Emard, and siblings-in-law Anne (Karl) Redekopp, Liz (Ed) Redekopp, John (Betty) Dyck, Susie Frostad, Peter Dyck, and Bob (Maria) Keirs. Lew is predeceased by his brothers Jacques and Reynald Emard.
A memorial service was held on October 19, 2019 at the Savanna Recreational Complex. Expressions of sympathy may be made by donation to Samaritan’s Purse Canada, 20 Hopewell Way NE, Calgary, Alberta, T3J 5H5.
