It is with great sadness that the family of Hans Delfs announce his passing at the age of 94 years. Hans died peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday, July 8, 2019, with his family by his side.
Hans Delfs, resident of Leduc, AB, formerly of Woking, and Grande Prairie, AB, was born in Grossenaspe, Germany, April 2, 1925.
He will be lovingly remembered as a soft-spoken, kind, and gentle man who lived his life with honour and integrity.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Ursula, and their four children: Ellen (Slavko) Bunjevac, Brenda Delfs, Eric (Laura) Delfs, and Dwayne (Natalie) Delfs; his seven grandchildren: Anton, Aaron, Marina, Ben, Sam Madison, and Tanner; his four great-grandchildren: Cameron, Mackenzie, Toryn, and Kaydri; his brother Klaus Delfs; as well as many extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service for Hans will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019, at 1:00pm, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northmark, AB.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers will be graciously accepted for STARS Air Ambulance (10911-123 St. Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 7Z3).
